My partner and I live on the Upper East
Side of Manhattan (62nd Street to be exact). We have a very large studio
apartment with a fully stocked kitchen (microwave, toaster, dishwasher,
etc). We have a very nice dining area that can seat up to 8 people and a
large comfortable sectional couch that can seat up to 6 comfortably. The
couch is perfect for lounging in front of our 42" projection TV and
using any of our electronics (DVD, DVR, Gamecumbe, etc). The ceilings in
the apartment are about 15 feet and one wall is beautiful exposed brick.
The sleeping area is lofted above the dining area and has a very
comfortable queen sized bed. The apartment is immaculately decorated and
very inviting. We of course have internet access for you to use as
well.
The apartment is in a wonderful location.
It is residential enough to be considered the Upper East Side, but
"midtown" starts at 59th Street so you are close to everything.
The 4/5/6, N/R subway stop is less than 5 minutes walking and will take
you anywhere you need to go. We do have a car (fun Mini Cooper) in a local
garage that we may offer as well, but we only have it to visit family
outside of the city. You really don't need a car in Manhattan.
