Mission/Vision
About Us
Our main goal is to enable our members to have a wonderful,
comfortable and rewarding vacation. When you are not locked into the demands
that a hotel puts on you, you can gain a greater sense of the community around
you. You will get many opportunities to mingle with the local shop owners and
begin to know the community. Your host will give you suggestions and perhaps
introductions to their friends. Who else but the locals can steer
you in the right direction? Our Vision is you taking advantage of all that we
have to offer and sharing your experiences with others.
Becoming a home exchange traveler, enables you to indulge yourself. Because you
are saving the money that you would normally spend on accommodations, think of
all the more that you can accomplish with those funds. Forget about limitations.
You have Total freedom! You're not bound by
any limitations imposed by the hotel, or restaurant. With your own sense of style.
When the time comes that you want to be a tourist and see all the sights, You
will know when and where to go. How? Because you and your exchange partner have shared
the knowledge and you are now ready to explore.
Some days you may wish to stay in bed all day
with that special someone or get up at the crack of dawn to go roller balding.
It's up to you. A shopping trip or making a home cooked meal, what ever
you like, remember your on vacation. And if you decide to enjoy the area's night life,
you will know where to go and when.
That's what One World One Family offers. Now, how do you accomplish this?
Trust
The only way that this even becomes remotely possible is because of trust.
We all must begin by trusting each other. First you trust that your exchange
partner will take care of your home while you are in theirs. And the same goes
for them with trusting you. It works both ways.
Be honest about yourself, your home, your neighborhood all
the elements that will affect a person's vacation. This is what builds a bond
that will last a lifetime. 
Sharing special moments with friends and family
is another way to build that trust. Keeping each other up to date on what is
happening in your lives and your community will keep your exchange partner a
friend forever.
During the process of setting up the ground rules of your exchange with potential home exchangers,
remember that it's important to be honest about
your home, sleeping accommodations and your community. Let people know what they're getting into before they
agree to an arrangement. Your profile should be 100% honest. Please try not to embellish.
If you do, it will all come out in the end and perhaps ruin someone's holiday.
