This is a three bedroom, one bath apartment in the trendy Palermo neighborhood of Buenos Aires. It doesn't have any extra amenities like pools or spas, but it is comfortable and relatively spacious. Since it is in the back of the building it is quiet and has green views. There's broadband internet, and cable TV with programming in Spanish, English, German (Deutchewelle), Italian (RAI), and French.
Everything anyone could want is within walking or short taxi ride. A supermarket is a block away. The apartment is two and a half blocks away from a subway station and two and half blocks away from the botanical gardens. It is also about five blocks away from Palermo Soho with it's many fine restaurants and unique (not chain stores) high-end shopping. A major shopping mall and Cinemark cinema complex are one subway stop (10-15 min. walk) away. Palermo is the area with the most LGBT presence in Buenos Aires.
There are many entertainment opportunities here, theater, concerts, shows, even same-sex tango lessons!
Restaurants are of high-international quality with low prices, so eating out (and enjoying fine wines) isn't really a luxury for foreign visitors.
We have a dog and would like a pet-care exchange. Our dog is a "lover" and is very well-behaved. She needs to visit the park next to the botanical gardens two times a day. We don't have a car and none is needed here because taxis are everywhere and are cheap.
I would venture to guess that someone could enjoy his or herself in this city more than most cities on the planet. It is the perfect city for an urban vacation - it's kind of like like a European capital, but without the historical buildings. People are out enjoying themselves until late at night (the clubs start filling up after 1AM). Also side trips can be taken in luxury buses to areas of amazing geological beauty like Iguazu Falls, Bariloche, Calafate, and others.
We are open to most exchanges in Latin America, Canada, and Europe.
